There is not a newer version available as an installation candidate for KDEneon. My current work around is I downloaded and installed the Flatpak version which shows as "0.8.2" in "Help > About Subtitle Composer" I did notice this just now: In KDEneon, "apt-cache show" reports the version of subtitlecomposer deb package as "0.8.0-1build6" In Kubuntu 25.04, the package version reports as "0.8.1-2build2" However, BOTH show as "0.8.1" in "Help > About Subtitle Composer" So clearly the KDEneon deb package is not the same as the Kubuntu one.
