The 'Show Messages in Threads' toggle option sometimes doesn't stay turned on.
I haven't been able to find any pattern -- in some mailboxes, it stays on, in
some, it doesn't. In some mailboxes, the setting is remembered even between
sessions, in some, it doesn't survive mere switching between mailboxes.
The only thing that seems to be consistent is that the setting always stays on
in INBOX.
