I also noticed something weird here (NixOS unstable up-to-date), yes;
Looks like since some time (maybe kde-apps 25.12?), Kwallet doesn't "fail" to
unlock if it can't read password, or there's something weird kwallet-pam, used
together with fingerprint reader;

I noticed I could "open" the wallet in Wallet Manager without it asking for
password, it lists the password entries, with their names, but they look all
empty, making several services depending on it to stop working (e.g. Chromium's
secret unlock, expiring all my cookies). A logout and login with password made
the wallet be properly unlocked, but then I already had the secrets reset.

Previously, it'd prompt for the password if wallet wasn't opened, and would
properly "error" if it couldn't open the wallet, instead of silently returning
empty strings (even from on kwallet-query)
