STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Hard to produce.
Laptop / Desktop session were running more than 21 days.
I do daily docking between office and home, and switching headphone depending
on docking enviroment.
The crash occurred when I started a MSTeams meeting within the running Citrix
Workspace App (Remote Desktop to Windows Server of one my customer for a
freelancing contract).
The crash occurred suddenly, as soon as MSTeams acquired the Bluetooth
headphone, I could see the on display message that headphone has switch its
profile to some microphone profile.
Before starting the joining the conference, I was jumping to next music and
paused music in spotify in firefox using the MediaControls of the Keyboard.
OBSERVED RESULT
kwin has then crashed, desktop restarted.
Two Apps survived: Kate, and Konsole But all other important apps gone:
Thunderbird, Notepad++ (CrossOver), Firefox, Chrome, KeePassXC, Signal,
Clementine, Another Firefox with Spotify, freerdp sessions, and the Citrix
client ("icaclient")
EXPECTED RESULT
If possible, let kwin crash, but other apps survive (the meeting icaclient
and the other apps)
Please change component "Mulitscreen" if it makes sens might be not related to
docking, I guess may by related to bluetooth/sound/keyboard input and wayland
.
This problem hasn't happened afterwards(starting multiple times test calls) and
never before.
The CitrixClient is pretty stable. kwin normally crashes normally during
docking/undocking between 2x4k, 3xFullHD, SingleLaptop.
