--- Comment #16 from Nick H <[email protected]> --- I'm having the same problem as others here such as Brian and darhma. Ever since I started using rules to send programs to certain desktops this trash button has been breaking the rules which then need fixing. It's happened three times in a few days and I generally haven't realised that I've clicked the invisible trash button that becomes visible. OK I just found that it happened yet again whilst typing this; again without me knowing, so that is probably one reason 'undo' alone won't be the answer. If people want to keep it quick and easy to create/delete virtual desktops, I think that the drag and drop is the best solution. However, yes it may be challenging to implement. A couple solutions I came up with today: 1. There is a thumbnail to add a desktop with a plus (+) on it, why not to the right of it add another with a minus (-), which will remove the highlighted desktop? That way it will a distance of mouse travel away from the desktops that it's very unlikely to be clicked by mistake. 2. Take the delete rubbish bin/trash can icon out of the thumbnail virtual desktop and move it outside of the box but to the far right corner in-line with the text for the desktop's name. Of these I think the first would be the most effective for *not* clicking close accidentally as it's further away, and is always visible, unlike the red rubbish bins. I will attempt to attach mockup images of both options. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
