on first selection: needs to to be done twice
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
      Version First 6.5.4
       Reported In:
          Platform: Ubuntu
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Clipboard widget & pop-up
          Assignee: [email protected]

                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY
Using Klipper on Kubuntu 25.10, with a large clipboard history with lots of
graphical items, picking a graphical item from further down the history moves
it to the top of the list, but does not put it in the system paste buffer. In
order for the item moved to the top to be paste-able, I have to click on it
again.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Use klipper with a 2000 item history and have many graphical as well as
textual items in the history.
2. Go down the history list and select a graphical item that is not the top
item.
3. Attempt to paste that item into e.g. a Facebook post. Nothing is pasted.
4. Go back to klipper, and click on the item, which is now at the top of the
history.
5. Return to the app, and paste - it now works.

OBSERVED RESULT
The item is not pasted: nothing is pasted..not even the previously used history
item.

EXPECTED RESULT
The selection is posted on the first attempt.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Kubuntu 25.10

Qt Version: 6.9.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is very repeatable, including across system reboots. It was working OK
until a couple of weeks ago, but I don't know what, if any, system changes
triggered it.
