However, the problem still remains that the application window always opens on the left edge of the screen! This is a bit annoying because all other programs open in the middle of the screen after the settings. Digikam showed the scan at the bottom right even after several starts and remained stable beyond that. I have now installed 9.0.0 again as a working version. If there are still problems, I will let you know here. But before I reinstalled and tested Digikam, I installed the LinuxMint update to 22.3, updated the NVDIA driver and installed the kernel 8.14 (previously 8.6).
