Filter Bar Lightroom classic like feature

I would like to request a new feature for the digiKam interface to improve
workflow efficiency when navigating large libraries. Specifically, a dynamic
"Metadata Filter Bar" similar to the implementation in Lightroom Classic.
Proposed Functionality:
Multi-Column Layout: A set of 3–4 customizable columns (e.g., Camera, Lens,
ISO, People) that can be toggled above the main image grid.
Real-Time Drill-Down: Selecting an item in one column (e.g., a specific
"People" tag) should immediately update the other columns to show only the
relevant data and counts for the currently filtered subset.
Visible Item Counts: Every metadata value in the filter list should display the
count of matching images next to it (e.g., "Canon EOS R5 (142)").

Rationale:
While digiKam currently has powerful search and filtering sidebars, the
Lightroom-style "Filter Bar" allows for a much faster, non-destructive
"drill-down" experience without opening separate dialogs. This is highly
beneficial for users migrating from other professional DAM software
