SUMMARY
In a dual-monitor desktop configuration, when disabling the left monitor, KDE
throws an error:
Couldn’t apply display configuration: Position of output eDP-1 is negative,
that is not supported
and that monitor cannot be disabled. To disable that monitor, we have to move
it to the right side, and then disabling it works.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. You need to have two monitors.
2. Open Display Settings.
3. Arrange the monitors so that the monitor that you want to disable is on the
left and apply the setup.
4. Disable the left monitor. Click Apply again.
OBSERVED RESULT
KDE will throw an error mentioned above, and the changes won't be saved.
EXPECTED RESULT
The monitor should be disabled without errors.
