I think the monitor with the lower scaling is affected here. My laptop internal display is at 125% and external is at 100%. The quick fix for this is to scale the external monitor to any number and then back to your desired scale. Or I have to log out and log back in again. If the laptop is connected to the monitor before powering it on then there are no issues.
