SUMMARY
When using a title clip in combination with a video clip using the Freeze
filter, the exported video can contain a glitched frame.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a new project and add a video clip.
2. Cut the clip in two and add the Freeze filter to the second half.
3. Add a Title Clip above the frozen clip and line it up to start on the same
frame.
4. Export the project (or preview region containing the area where the freeze
begins).
OBSERVED RESULT
The first frame of the frozen clip will look fine. However, the frame after it
is glitched (video is distorted, red/green, but the title clip looks fine).
EXPECTED RESULT
All frames should look the same as they do in the project.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows 10
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Tested on 25.8.3 and 25.12.1.
- Tested with different video files encoded in different ways
- If the title clip does NOT start on the same frame as the frozen clip, or
there is no title clip, the issue doesn't occur.
- Can provide an example project file if needed.
