Māris Nartišs <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #6 from Māris Nartišs <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Rafał Lichwała from comment #4) > It is fixed on the current master branch, but still exists in dolphin 25.08.3 The bug is still present in Dolphin 25.12.1. It is not related to closing a tab, but to switching a tab. After a tab switch, one of panes is shown as the active one, but buttons "up", "back" and "forward" might not be linked to this "seemingly" active tab (ditto for keyboard). Even more, sometimes "back" or "up" buttons after a tab switch are attached to different panes – "back" button shows history of the right pane, but pressing "up" acts on the left pane. To test: * create four folders "A", "B", "C" and "D"; * open two tabs with a split view; * navigate around in a way that each pane has visited only one of those folders to be easy to keep a track on pane-folder mapping; * switch back and forth between tabs and examine: * pane indicated of being active by visual clues; * contents of "back" button; * press "up" to see which pane is acted on; * press "back" button to see which pane is acted on; * check if mouse right click works on files/folders (sometimes it is just gone). Interestingly, mouse left click is not affected; * repeat a few times (I managed to hit with the first one though). A workaround is to minimize Dolphin window or switch between applications after a tab switch has been done. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
