SUMMARY
I have an image open in Krita and want to draw lines with precise dimensions
(tall rectangles). However, when I try to use the Snap To Grid/Snap To
Guides/etc., it does not work with Rectangle Selection Tool, Rectangle Tool, or
anything else. I have all the Snap To Dockers selected as On with the check
mark, but nothing is snapping to anything. I tried closing and then restarting
Krita but the problem still persists. Nothing is snapping to anything.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open image file.
2. Have Snap To Grid/Guide selected.
3. Use keyboard command to bring up Grid/Guide over image.
4. Select Rectangle Selection Tool, Rectangle Tool or any other Tool and try to
use said tool with Guide/Grid turned on.
OBSERVED RESULT
Tools flow over image with no snapping to the Guide/Grid at all.
EXPECTED RESULT
Tools are expected to "snap" or be pulled to Guide/Grid lines, thus creating
set drawn lines and/or selections.
