--- Comment #5 from [email protected] --- Heard. Observation: The bugtracker is full of bugs that are falling through the triage process, not only because of limited volunteers...but because of this https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kdenlive/-/issues/2041 There are a lot of downstream packaging issues that clog up the tracker. This ticket feels like a case in point. Maybe we can configure the bugzilla bot to scan when Linux users add their full 'About Kdenlive' info to determine if they are using official builds. If not, then asking them to install the AppImage or Flatpak and try to reproduce. The ticket can also be labeled missing info if there is no About info provided. This makes the triage process easier and educates the user-base on how to help triage and devs more effecitively fix issues. This also is related to https://discuss.kde.org/t/proposal-merge-about-and-components-tabs-in-the-about-kdenlive-dialog/43578 which encourages improving the ergonomics of the About Kdenlive menu to influence better reporting methods. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
