1. click the application menu button on bottom/left, or press the key "win"
OBSERVED RESULT
the application menu pops up at bottom right

the application menu pops up at bottom left

the laptop built-in display is disabled
though the built-in display is disabled, there are two cases:
1. if the lid of laptop is opened, the application menu pops up at the right
position (bottom-left)
2. if the lid of laptop is closed, the application menu pops up at a wrong
position (bottom-right)
