            Bug ID: 375586
Summary: sudden crashes of plasma5 gui
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.8.5
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: generic-crash
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: slartibar...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

I am suddenly suffering from sudden crashes of plasma5
Not sure exactly what the cause is, but it happens around 1200h to 1500h often,
but not daily. Could be the wrong hint, of course.

I appended a detailed dump of abrt, last crash was 1447h today (26.01.2017)
Please help in analyzing the log...

What happened today:
- vmware was running in the background (only the app, not a virtualized
machine), chrome and mozilla open, eclipse.
- Then i started thunderbird
- next thing, screen went black completely killing all user processes

I logged into a tty (CtrlAlt-F2) and noticed
- abrtd using 100% of one single core, not coming to an end
- i restarted abrtd.service and lightdm.service and went on typing this bug
report...

The former times this happened was with virtualbox open (also not virtualizing
any machines) and same usage scenario as above
I think it happened before without any virtualization software running.

I am on fedora-updates-testing, so yes, my bad.
Still this error should be fixed

Any hints how to address this by analyzing the abrt-dump?
