           Product: systemsettings
      Version First 6.6.0
       Reported In:
          Platform: CachyOS
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR

  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

Newly released All (grayscale mode) option in System Settings → Accessibility →
Color Blindness Correction → Problematic Colors is identical in its effects to
Red & purple (Protanopia) option, but only on X11. Wayland is unaffected

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Toggle Grayscale in X11 session
2. Toggle back and forth between Protanopia and grayscale
3. Toggle other color options for further comparison (al except for grayscale
work normally)

OBSERVED RESULT
When toggling to grayscale, colors remain. These are identical to those
proposed by Protanopia option.

EXPECTED RESULT
Natively implemented greyscale option should turn all colors to gray with an
intensity slider available. This works as expected on Wayland.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: N/A
macOS: N/A
(available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a terminal window)
Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.19.2-2-cachyos
KDE Plasma Version: plasmashell 6.6.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.23.0
Qt Version: 6.10.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I'd switch to Wayland if I could, but hardware limitations with my current
setup prevent that.
