I follow the same procedure as Michael to get this error but some additional details: -Change also fails to persist after logging off and back on again -Desktops do change name successfully if they are just letters (A-Z/a-z). Names with spaces in do not update. -Only one desktop needs a "bad" name: If any desktop is updated to have a space in the name and other desktops have updated names that are just letters, no desktop names update. -If a new desktop is added and given a name with a space in before logging out/rebooting, it does update. -Also found similar behaviour with periods (.) and question marks (?) but have not tested these as extensively or tested other special characters.
