I shifted 3 weeks ago from W11 to Kubuntu 24.04 on this desktop.
The installation went flawless.
Kubuntu start-up seems perfect normal until a week ago.
At that time below message was displayed after my 'innocent action' working in
'discover' ... . It seems rather persistent and pops up every time I open
discover. (see attached printscreens)
Apps installed are still limited to Google Chrome, Firefox, Thunderbird, Libre
Office (all apps), pCloud, Pcloud Pass (add on Google)
Actions taken:
- restarting the system did not solve the issue:
- starting Kubuntu with another (new) account resulted in same fault message
- none of the other applications show any malfunctioning.
- a recent (2 /3 days ago) update was incorporated .... unaware if that
caused the issue.
- it seems that some red indications had to do with a second screen that
was on.
- attached printscreens from journald-log (other logscreen did not show any
red notifications.
- attached system info
Pls let me know if you need any other input (but use easy words... rather than
nerds' slang!).
