SUMMARY
When the desktop has only one file, renaming this file causes it to disappear
until another file is created or the shell is restarted.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make sure the desktop directory has only one file
2. Rename said file
3. Create a new file
OBSERVED RESULT
File disappears after step 2 (so the desktop is now empty), and appears again
after step 3.
EXPECTED RESULT
File doesn't disappear
