Shows the failure of selection as the caret jumps to the first non-alphanumeric
character
Dolphin: 25.12.2
KDE Frameworks: 6.23.0
Qt: Using 6.10.2 and built against 6.10.1
Fedora Linux 43 (KDE Plasma Desktop Edition) (Wayland)
Build ABI: x86_64-little_endian-lp64
Kernel: linux 6.18.13-200.fc43.x86_64
I'm trying to rename a file a in Dolphin.
I click on the file, press F2 to go into edit mode, press HOME to move the
cursor to the beginning of the filename.
Now I try to select a prefix of the file an press SHIFT and then ARROW-RIGHT.
Instead of selecting the first character, the caret is moved to the first
non-alphanumeric character (not quite the character class \W, as underscore
belongs to it)
Replacement solution: One has to move the caret forwards with ARROW-RIGHT, then
select "leftwards" with SHIFT and ARROW-LEFT instead.
