            Bug ID: 517493
Summary: lining up and configuring widgets is difficult with
                    zoomed out view.
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
      Version First 6.5.5
       Reported In:
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Edit Mode
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: 1.0

I prefer lining up my widgets at actual size. I can line things up very
carefully that way.
I believe lining things up carefully is a worthy goal.

I don't actually understand what we get by shrinking the desktop.
If someone really wants it, having two ways to do it could be nice, If there
was only one way, keeping it full size makes more sense to me because setting
icon size and other options in widgets actually show if they are usable or not.

I would show edit lines and such and show the widget pallet as a window that
can move to expose other parts of the desktop.
