SUMMARY
Beforre a CachyOS update I was able to access a usb drive in the Dolphin file
manager. After the update, it no longer shows up in devices.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Plug in usb as of 8:00 pm PST on 3/12/2026
2. Update CachyOS via Cachy-Update
3. Plug in usb the morning after - does not show up in graphical interface but
shows up in lsusb
OBSERVED RESULT
The Lexar D40E 128gb Dual USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C Jump Drive no longer shows up in
Devices in the Dolphin File Manager. It is recognized by the system in terminal
when lsusb is input.
EXPECTED RESULT
That it would show in the Dolphin GUI as it did the night prior to me
performing a system update.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
There is a system notification that a drive has been inserted when I plug in
the usb, however it still does not show up in the Dolphin GUI.
