I mean to say that when Dolphin/KIO is *not* used, this is the only way they'll
be mounted. It's probably because there's nothing happening under the hood that
enters all 14 paths without my explicit intention.

I'm guessing that even if these are static mounts, the delay will still exist.
I believe that to be true, since it requires 2 minutes of idle time for them to
be unmounted automatically. If I don't wait 2 minutes, and confirm with "mount"
that all 14 are mounted, the delay still happens after I had waited 30 seconds
before using Dolphin again. This tells me something is "entering" or
"inspecting" or "traversing" the paths, even though they are already mounted.
