            Bug ID: 517630
Summary: Inconsistent usage of "device", "computer", "system"
                    in restart strings
    Classification: Applications
           Product: Discover
      Version First 6.6.2
       Reported In:
          Platform: openSUSE
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Updates
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
A small papercut - the Discover UI seems unable to decide whether to refer to a
device, a computer, or a system, when it asks to restart.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install some updates that require a restart
2. Look in the main Discover UI Updates tab, and hover the mouse over the
System Tray icon

OBSERVED RESULT
Main UI says:
Updates will be installed after the *system* is restarted. You can keep using
the *system* if you're not ready to restart yet.

System Tray tooltip says:
Click to restart the *device*
*Computer* needs to restart

EXPECTED RESULT
Consistent usage of one of the words system, device, or computer, not all
three!

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20260312
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.23.0
Qt Version: 6.10.2
Kernel Version: 6.19.5-1-default (64-bit)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is in British English, by the way.

I'll let someone else decide which of the three words to use (although I think
"system" is best).

Regarding the tooltip in the System Tray, to be honest "Click to restart the
system. System needs to restart" (if that is what you would change it to) is
still rather an odd message, especially as it doesn't say why and doesn't
mention updates at all. Maybe "Click to restart the system. System needs to
restart to install updates" or something.
