So, the in-application descriptions are me summarizing the opentype page. I
tried to have a less complex description for the manual, so I will need to
think deeper about changing these.

Yeah, this is really confusing, but basically, there's separate forms that are
meant to be used in ruby-annotations, but are themselves not ruby annotations,
but are called ruby in opentype. This is not an SVG thing, this is Adobe, some
20-years-ago, naming the
special-characters-meant-to-be-used-in-ruby-annotations "ruby". This means that
unfortunately the picture is correct.
