Glad that helped! If the input is jittery enough, it can constantly trigger
such events. 

Also, could you please confirm your KDE Plasma version? I believe some of the
Interim releases had turned off the option by default and some had even
disabled it. 

During the massive rewrite from Qt5 to Qt6, many "KWin Effects" (like the shake
cursor) were briefly disabled or left out of the initial 6.0.0 release
But KDE Plasma 6 has enabled the setting again for non pre-configured devices
now.;
