SUMMARY
Plasmashell uses tons of RAM every ~1h, making the system freeze for a couple
minutes before restarting the service. After some debug with heaptrack, i found
that the responsible of this bug is akonadi updating the calendar from the
clock/calendar widget. In particular I have a remote ICS calendar linked with
kOrganizer.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Link a ICS calendar with kOrganizer
2. Show the calendar in the clock widget
3. Waiting for the automatic calendar update
OBSERVED RESULT
The RAM usage spikes immidiately and makes the system freeze
EXPECTED RESULT
The calendar updates flawlessly
