Hello,
I would like to request the full support and availability of the "Magic Lamp"
minimization effect in KDE Plasma 6.
As one of the most iconic and visually pleasing desktop effects in KDE history,
it provides a smooth and intuitive user experience by clearly showing where the
window is being minimized to (the Task Manager).
Current state:
In the transition to Plasma 6 and Qt6, some users find it difficult to locate
or activate this effect, especially when using Wayland. I believe it should
remain a core part of the "Desktop Effects" suite to maintain the high level of
customization and "eye candy" that KDE is known for.
Request:
Please ensure that the Magic Lamp effect is fully compatible with the KWin
Wayland compositor in Plasma 6 and remains easily accessible in the System
Settings.
