I can also confirm that this fixes my unreported issue of the Screen Locking getting activated at random while I'm actively using the notebook connected via HDMI to my TV. I wonder if it's due to energy fluctuations (from this issue), or the Screen Locking being refreshed and noticing that the lid happens to be closed (from Bug 514135 ).
