It's very unlikely that commit would be related, it's about idle inhibition on
subsurfaces, neither of which should come into play here.

I think this is either caused by KWin somehow failing to update the textures
for the shm buffers, or a bug in Qt. If Qt drops buffers after the window has
been idle for a while, that could explain it for example.
