The I/O is rather high indeed. However, running `update-mime-database /usr/share/mime` doesn't trigger it every time now, as I wrote earlier. However it's 100% reproducible on installation and reinstallation of vscode (`code` package from MS repositories), when it's in postinst/postun state.
