How background apps work in Android
SUMMARY
In Android, GUI apps running in the background are often found by pulling down
from the top menu (they are kind of merged with notifications).
It would be nice to have a similar functionality in Plasma Mobile.

An example why this is necessary: I am a developer of Safe Eyes, which reminds
the user to blink/take a break every 20 minutes (configurable).
While the break screen does come up in Plasma Mobile every 20 minutes, there is
no way to interact with the app (in desktop computer the app can be accessed
from the system tray). Of course, one can use the command line to change send
signals to the app, but that isn't ideal.
I am not asking you to build a system tray in Plasma Mobile . But we need some
platform (e.g. like a fixed yet dynamic notification with buttons) for
background apps in next generation Linux based mobile devices, just like the
feature present in Android.
I will be happy to add a functionality in my app to support this feature, once
it is available.

Here, when I swipe-to-pull-down in my android tablet, it shows two apps running
in background
1. A manual screen rotator
2. Gray switch, to toggle grayscale mode

It would be nice to have something in Phosh so that users can interact with
GUI-like-services/apps running in the background.

OBSERVED RESULT
There is no way to interact with the app
EXPECTED RESULT
There should be some way to interact with apps running in background. Not a
system tray. But something similar to what Android provides
