Jack, I believe these use cases could be sorted out by creating a Liability
account for a party involved (e.g. Employee or a Store from your examples) and
importing all the CSV itemized entries there as separate transactions. 

I don't think it's feasible to make the CSV importer onto a universal tool that
could handle a complex logic of guessing and bundling transactions into a
single one – and even then it would probably make for an overly complicated
tool for a "normie" user.  

Besides, in 2026, one can can use LLMs to easily write a script of their own
that would parse such CSV into a QIF/OFX for importing.
