            Bug ID: 518562
           Summary: Discover exists immediately
    Classification: Applications
           Product: Discover
      Version First 6.6.3
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: grave
          Priority: NOR
         Component: discover
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

Since today, I am unable to start plasma-discover.

When started from the task bar, the progress indicator will appear for a short
while, then nothing.

When started from bash via `plasma-discover`, it outputs
```
QThreadStorage: entry 2 destroyed before end of thread 0x5632da35fb30
QThreadStorage: entry 1 destroyed before end of thread 0x5632da35fb30
```
and then exits. This can be repeated. It will always return the same thread id.
Launching with parameters like `plasma-discover -v` will correctly output the
version number, then, also the above, then exit. Nothing is logged when looking
at the logs via `journalctl --follow` while trying to start the app.

In the notification area of the task panel, an icon informs me about "Updates:
Applying unattended updates…". Clicking on it does nothing.

(I should mention that *I had the impression* that since yesterday the computer
logged me in automatically without even showing the login screen. When
restarting, it showed it though, so probably I was just imagining things / had
a brain fart.)
