According to
https://zamundaaa.github.io/wayland/2026/05/06/making-wl-shm-fast.html, udmabuf
only works with wayland clients using shm buffers. Does this mean that the main
thread will remain blocked for any application with a CPU-based rendering
application that does not use shm buffers? If this is the case is there any
plan to handle the copy from CPU to GPU accessible asynchronously in a separate
thread to at least prevent kwin stuttering?
