DESCRIPTION
For the configuration option "When closing a split view", selecting "Close the
right pane" does not work properly. When that option is selected, pressing the
"Close" button closes the inactive pane. If the right pane is selected as
active, the left pane will close. When the "Split" window is clicked again, the
new pane opens on the left, and it is unselectable. It cannot be made active,
files within cannot be selected, and pressing the Close button again will
always close the left pane since it is inactive.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. In Settings -> Interface -> Split View, select the option to "Close right
pane" when Close button is pressed.
2. Click in right pane
3. Press "Close" button in toolbar to close the pane. The left pane will
close.
4. Press "Split" button in toolbar to create a new pane
5. Click in left pane. Nothing happens
6. Press "Close" button in toolbar. The left pane closes.
OBSERVED RESULT
When it is set to close the right pane, it still closes the active pane. If the
right pane is active, the left pane closes, and when the split button is
pressed again, a new pane appears on the left, and cannot be selected.
EXPECTED RESULT
Pressing the "Close" button should close the right pain, no matter which is
active.
