Sorry I don't know how to reproduce this exactly but I guess I'll file a bug
for record. I think this might be a regression since I never seen this before
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have a slow, huge .kra file
2. Press ctrl+G on a clone layer
3. The assertion triggers, a new group is created, but the clone layer is not
in it
