DESCRIPTION
Links on the "For Users" page to KMail Handbook and KDE Forums are broken.
context: I'm just starting out (trying to) migrate to KMail as my daily driver
email client. So many questions...
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click KMail Handbook link -->
https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/kmail/kmail2/index.html (404 not found)
2. Click KDE Forums link on that page -->
https://forum.kde.org/viewforum.php?f=215 (file not found)
3. Since they didn't work I tried others:
Kontact Handbook --> https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/kontact/kontact/index.html
(404 not found)
KOrganizer Handbook -->
https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/korganizer/korganizer/index.html (404 not
found)
Akregator Handbook -->
https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/akregator/akregator/index.html (404 not found)
IRC #kontact link --> https://kontact.kde.org/users/#ZgotmplZ (just returns to
same page)
Link to kdepim-users email page seems OK.
Link to Bugzilla worked fine, hence finding my way here.
OBSERVED RESULT
see above
EXPECTED RESULT
Obviously, I can find https://discuss.kde.org/, https://docs.kde.org/, etc. via
the usual routes, but if they were trying to point me to something specific on
those pages, it would have been good to know what.
As a beginner in this world, I'm finding it a little difficult to get my
bearings (although I will persevere)
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Brave Origin.
Otherwise not relevant, but -
Operating System: Fedora Linux 44
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.26.0
Qt Version: 6.10.3
Kernel Version: 7.0.4-200.fc44.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 4 × AMD RYZEN AI MAX+ 395 w/ Radeon 8060S
Memory: 11.7 GiB of usable RAM
Graphics Processor: SVGA3D; build: RELEASE; LLVM;
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I'd offer to help fix but, ofc, I'm at the wrong end of the learning curve for
that. I may be a good test subject for the effectiveness of the documentation
for beginners (albeit a technically literate one)?
