            Bug ID: 520124
Summary: Screen flicker on 2nd monitor after wake from sleep
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: CachyOS
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: platform-drm
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION: After waking from sleep, my second monitor has a sporadic flicker
to black under input activity.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Leave the system idle long enough for monitors to fully power down via DPMS
(in this case screen off set to 10 minutes, system suspend at 15 minutes)
2. Wake the system from sleep
3. Move mouse, click, or type on either monitor

OBSERVED RESULT
Occasional flicker to black on the 2nd monitor

EXPECTED RESULT
No flickering

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System (available in the Info Center app, or by running `kinfo` in a
terminal window): CachyOS Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 6.6.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.26.0
Qt Version: 6.11.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Workaround: Simply changing any display setting for either monitor will fix the
isssue. I've set up a shell script to just disable and enable HDR to fix it
quickly.
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5090 (GB202) with driver 595.58.03, alongside AMD Radeon
integrated graphics (Granite Ridge)
Monitors: 3440x1440 @ 164Hz (primary, DP-1) and 2560x1440 @ 144Hz (secondary,
DP-3)
Issue only occurs after a full DPMS power-down cycle, not on immediate wake
I had another CachyOs install for testing on my other drive before installing
it onto this current drive with the same configuration, and I did not
experience this issue there.
The same monitor also has an issue around brightness, it sometimes will wake
from sleep and just be a little darker
