That's a fair point. Of course, you'd also need to know the secret "reset these
settings" shortcut. But a repeated press of Esc is probably pretty intuitive.

Note that Overview already closes on Esc. So that leaves:
- Zoom effect
- Screen layout
- Screen rotation

Resetting screen layout and rotations on Esc --- even multiple presses of it —
might be really disruptive, though. People often go through a lot of care to
set this stuff to their liking; if there was a hidden "erase my configuration"
button, I think we'd get even more complaints about *that*!

For screen layouts, there's already a confirmation dialog for every change made
on the Display Configuration page in System Settings that resets the change if
you do nothing for 15 seconds. So there's already some safety there.

As a result, I'd say let's limit this to the Zoom effect.
