            Bug ID: 520263
Summary: UI doesn't reappear on typing after being idle, only
                    on mouse movement
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasma-login-manager
      Version First 6.6.90
       Reported In:
          Platform: KDE Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: [email protected]

  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
On a fresh boot, the PLM UI (user picture and name, password entry field and
session management buttons) does not reappear on typing after disappearing due
to being idle.
Only mouse movement makes it reappear. The (invisibly) typed text seems to land
in the text field though.

These tree work as expected:
- Lockscreen (invoked by Meta+L)
- Screen after logging out the user (Steps: Boot, log in, log out, wait for UI
do disappear, type → UI appears)
- User switching screen
But I think they are a completely different piece of software, correct?

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Boot
2. Do not touch the mouse and keyboard until the UI faded out
3. Type something

OBSERVED RESULT
The UI doesn't come back, only when moving the mouse.
Text was being entered, the text field for the password is full.

EXPECTED RESULT
The UI comes back, and I can see what I type.
