DESCRIPTION
The notification when downloading big files doesn't work properly resulting in
a notification remaining always at 0% and constantly switching between
"Suspended" and "In Progress" download status with the moving bar. Google
Chrome (chrome://downloads) page also reports being stuck at 0% with 0kb/s
download speed and also switches between "Suspended" and "In progress" status
as shown below.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make sure Download notification is enabled in Plasma Integration Extension
settings
2. Download a relatively big file. Here it was tested using 7GB Windows 11 ISO
from official Microsoft website but has been observed with Google Drive files.
3. Look at notification in KDE System Tray.
Only way to avoid this issue is completely disabling Download notification.
OBSERVED RESULT
Download proceeds in background but both the notification and Google Chrome
don't report any status and glitch between "Download cancelled", "Suspended"
and "In progress" status without showing any sign of proceeding. Once download
is finished it is reported correctly as "Completed".
EXPECTED RESULT
Download progress should be shown properly such as smaller files and other
services. Ubuntu (6.1GB) and Debian ISOs (3.7GB) seem to be downloaded without
any issue.
