Bug ID: 520336
Summary: Cannot create or save Ethernet settings because Apply
button stays gray
Classification: Applications
Product: systemsettings
Version First 6.6.90
Reported In:
Platform: Arch Linux
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: kcm_networkmanagement
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
CC: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
In System Settings -> Wi-Fi & Networking settings, the "Apply" button stays
grayed out even after changing some options in a Ethernet connection, but not a
Wi-Fi connection.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open System Settings -> Wi-Fi & Networking
2. Click the plus "+" sign below to create a new connection, and choose "Wired
Ethernet", or:
3. Click an existing Ethernet connection
4. Try changing options
OBSERVED RESULT
No matter what option I set in the connection, the "Save" or "Apply" button
stay grayed out, thus I can't create or save a Ethernet connection.
Wi-Fi connection works however.
EXPECTED RESULT
I should be able to create or save a wired Ethernet connection.
