                    launch
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasma-browser-integration
      Version First unspecified
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux

  Target Milestone: ---

DESCRIPTION
Whenever I have the extension enabled, the browser freezes up. After a few
minutes, the browser becomes responsive again. After the browser becomes
responsive again, it sometimes freezes when I download content through the
browser. Again, if you wait a few minutes, the browser becomes responsive.
Sometimes the browser freezes, though I've only seen it crash once since the
problem started happening.

The issue started sometime in May.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Vivaldi on a Fedora 44 Linux Distro.
2. Add the Plasma Integration extension from the Chrome Web Store to Vivaldi.
3. Make sure the extension is enabled and working as intended.
4. Close the browser. Make sure that the browser isn't running.
5. Launch the browser.
6. Observe that it's unresponsive for several minutes.

I should mention that I do have 658 tabs open, spread across 8 workspaces.

OBSERVED RESULT
Browser being unresponsive for a few minutes when it starts.

EXPECTED RESULT
Browser being responsive within seconds of it starting.
