DESCRIPTION
I want to report yearly figures of a rental property investment.
Currently the report "income and expenses by year" can select a few categories
and because of this filter, it excludes the transfer transactions between 2
KMyMoney accounts. This is by design so.
in KMyMoney, I have a few income categories for it, a few expense categories
and 3 accounts:
1) checking: my current account
2) loan: my mortgage account
3) asset: my nice flat

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open a report, e.g. "income and expenses by year"
1.a) check, that numbers coming from transfer transactions between check
account and loan account are reported
2. select a few income and expense categories and apply the selection
OBSERVED RESULT
3. the warning "Warning: filtering by Category will exclude all transfers from
the results" appears
4. the numbers from transfer transactions visible in 1.a) are not reported
anymore.
EXPECTED RESULT
3. no warning appears
4. the numbers from transfer transactions visible in 1.a) are still reported
So, I would expect inclusion of:
All Transfers.
All Payments and All Deposits in the selected Categories.
This wish is not new, it has been documented in 2006 here:
