DESCRIPTION
I’m running Fedora 44 with KDE 6.6.5
I use four Activities. Per activity i have a different location for my desktop.
for example : /home/dexter/Desktop/one, /home/dexter/Desktop/two and so on.
On another machine with a default location for Desktop, if i add an application
from application menu to desktop, it works. However, on a setup with a desktop
with a custom location ( Desktop settings ->Location → Custom Location) the
“add application to desktop” does not work.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. create an activity
2. set Desktop settings ->Location → Custom Location to another folder
3. from application menu add an application do Desktop
OBSERVED RESULT
* No creation of an icon on the Desktop, not in ~/Desktop and in custom
location
* No message why it fails
EXPECTED RESULT
Creation af an icon on the Desktop with a custom location
