Thanks for following up. Yes I got this in 5.3.1 too. And also I noticed this also happens on Krita Plus Android version (but much rare). On PC it happens so much (I need to Ctrl+S everytime before doing a Transform) when there are more layers but yet I don't see a clear pattern what triggers the crash.
