Pedro V <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |voidpointertonull+bugskdeor | |[email protected] --- Comment #5 from Pedro V <[email protected]> --- I'm not convinced that this is a duplicate, at least as I see: This report describes the problem that Okular keeps on leaking metadata, breaking down encryption boundaries, and ignoring the user's privacy settings regarding remembering recent files. The solution is not necessarily hashing, but there's definitely a problem that's a bug, even a security issue, and definitely not a wishlist matter. Bug 249572 is a wishlist item for improved metadata storage control. While as a superset that can also solve this issue, it wants to generally do a whole lot more than what would be enough here. I believe this should be reopened, and set to be a regular bug with higher priority. I'm not even sure why is Okular one of the few programs that tracks usage by default, but doesn't even have an option to disable that often undesired behavior. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
