Bug ID: 520686
Summary: no output unless --all is used
Classification: Applications
Product: konsolekalendar
Version First 4.12.3
Reported In:
Platform: Debian stable
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: general
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Target Milestone: ---
DESCRIPTION
Trying to get a date's events, I get absolutely no output unless I use the
--all option. I cannot get the calendar's information by date or of a certain
date/time frame. I can only get *all* the date's information. (Which, depending
on how much data one has, is a lot!)
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Try getting konsolekalendar to give you a certain date/time frame's
information, using ...
konsolekalendar --view --date 2026-05-26
... or any other combination.
2. Now, try doing...
konsolekalendar --view --all
... and you'll get output, however, it will be of all dates.
OBSERVED RESULT
No output when specifying start and end dates or times, or not specifying
anything at all.
EXPECTED RESULT
There should be calendar information output under those circumstances..
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Debian 13 Trixie
KDE Plasma Version: I think no version? I am running konsolekalendar with xfce
KDE Frameworks Version: I think no version? I am running konsolekalendar with
xfce
Qt Version: qt 6 I think
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
As mentioned, I am running konsolekalendar (as well as korganizer and kmail) on
debian 13 trixie with xfce4 desktop. Although I don't think this is the cause
of the bug. I have also tried installing later versions, however I do not find
how to add a later repository to my debian in order to use the latest versions
of konsolekalendar.
